Terms of Service

SellMyScript ("we", "us", or the "platform") operates a marketplace where independent developers ("sellers" or "authors") list digital products — source code, scripts, plugins, UI kits, and templates — for purchase by other users ("buyers"). Anyone using the platform, in either capacity, is a "user" for the purposes of these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not create an account or otherwise use SellMyScript.

You need an account to purchase, sell, or leave reviews on SellMyScript. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date, including your contact and payment details where applicable. Accounts are personal to the individual or business entity that created them and may not be transferred without our consent.

Each product listing states its price for each license tier it offers (typically a Regular License and, where available, an Extended License) along with a support window during which the seller will provide install help and bug fixes for the purchased version.

When you complete a purchase, you receive a license to use that product under the terms shown on its product page and summarized in our pricing page. A license is a grant of usage rights, not a transfer of ownership — the seller retains all intellectual property rights in the product unless their listing states otherwise.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute a purchased product as a standalone item, or use it outside the scope of the license tier you purchased.

To sell on the platform, you register as an author and submit products for review. We check that submitted products include a working demonstration where applicable, accurate documentation, and an honest description of functionality before approving them for listing. We may reject or request changes to a submission, and may suspend a previously approved listing that later violates these Terms or our content standards.

As a seller, you confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to every product you list, including any third-party code, assets, fonts, or media bundled with it, and that your listing does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property.

You're responsible for providing the support window stated on your listing and for keeping your product's description, pricing, and files current and accurate.

You may not upload, sell, or otherwise use SellMyScript to distribute anything that:

• Infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, spyware, or intentionally undisclosed backdoors
• Is illegal to sell, or facilitates illegal activity, in the jurisdictions the product targets
• Misrepresents what the product does, or omits paid dependencies required to use it
• Was generated primarily to game search, ratings, or reviews rather than provide real functionality

You also may not manipulate reviews, ratings, or sales figures, attempt to circumvent the platform to transact with another user outside SellMyScript for a listed product, or interfere with the normal operation of the site.

Sellers retain ownership of the products they list, subject to the license granted to buyers on purchase. The SellMyScript name, logo, and site design are our property and may not be used without permission. Product listings, screenshots, and descriptions may be displayed by us on the platform and in reasonable promotional contexts (search results, category pages, marketing emails) as part of operating the marketplace.

Buyer payments are processed by our third-party payment processor at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.

Sellers earn the listed price of each sale minus a platform commission. The current commission rate is configurable and always shown in your seller dashboard before you publish a product and after every sale. There is no fee to create a seller account or list a product. Once a seller's available balance reaches the platform's minimum payout amount, they may request a payout from their dashboard. We review and process payout requests; timing can vary based on the payout method and standard verification checks.

Buyers may request a refund for an eligible order from their order history, stating a reason for the request. Our team reviews each request and approves or rejects it. Full eligibility criteria and the step-by-step process are described in our refund policy.

We may suspend or terminate an account, or remove a listed product, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, if required by law, or to protect the security or integrity of the platform. Where practical, we'll explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond.

You may stop using SellMyScript, or delete your account, at any time. Licenses already granted for products you've purchased remain valid after account closure; refund eligibility is governed by our refund policy regardless of account status.

Products on SellMyScript are created and maintained by independent third-party sellers. We review submissions before publishing them, but we don't write, test, or guarantee the fitness of any individual product for your specific use case. Products are provided "as is," and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SellMyScript is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a product purchased through the platform, or from the platform itself. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform or applicable law. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users directly. Continued use of SellMyScript after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where SellMyScript operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your own jurisdiction provide otherwise.
